Patrick Sampair, Attorney at Law
Patrick Sampair has over 32 years of legal experience and has helped thousands of Arizonans with their family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, child relocation and alimony (or spousal maintenance) disputes. Mr. Sampair has expertise resolving complex financial matters that arise in a family law dispute, drawn in part from his experience litigating civil and criminal tax cases during his early years of law practice. Mr. Sampair is committed to providing his clients with effective and affordable legal representation; he is dedicated to minimizing the negative effects divorce proceedings and related disputes can have on children.
Education & Experience:
Mr. Sampair received his Juris Doctorate from Creighton University Law School in Nebraska in 1981, and a BA from Creighton University in 1976. He is admitted to practice law in Arizona and Minnesota, and is a member of the State Bar of Arizona. Mr. Sampair is also admitted to practice before Arizona state and federal courts, the U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeals for the First, Second, Fifth, Sixth, Eighth, and Ninth Circuits and the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for Arizona.
Mr. Sampair is a former Judge Pro Tem in the Maricopa County Superior Courts, and a former Adjunct Professor of Law at the William Mitchell School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. In 1992, he was appointed by the U.S. District Court of Arizona to represent indigent defendants pursuant to the federal Criminal Justice Act.
James Bruce has practiced law in Phoenix Metropolitan and Glendale since 1978. He grew up and graduated high school in Rochester, New York. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Haverford College in 1973. He worked for the Pennsylvania Crime Commission in 1973 and 1974. He attended Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. from 1974 to 1977. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Georgetown in 1977.
James Bruce took the Arizona State Bar and was admitted to practice law in 1977. He moved to Glendale, Arizona, in 1978 and has been practicing law in the Phoenix Metropolitan area ever since.

James Bruce has practiced law in Phoenix Metropolitan and Glendale since 1978. In February of 2000, the State Bar of Arizona gave James Bruce the distinction of being named a Certified Domestic Relations Specialist. This is a distinction which is given to only a few domestic relations lawyers in the State of Arizona. It is given when one shows a proficiency, expertise and knowledge of the nuances of Arizona Family Law. Although there are over 17,000 lawyers licensed to practice law in Arizona, today there are less then 70 who have earned the distinction of being named a Certified Domestic Relations Specialist.
James Bruce has appeared and practiced in Courtrooms throughout the State of Arizona. He has appeared before the Arizona Court of Appeals to argue a variety of Family Law matters. James Bruce has been a sole practitioner doing exclusively family law since 1985. He is married with four grown children.
Brandy has assisted Arizona families with family law matters for more than a decade. Education & Experience:
Born and raised in Arizona, Brandy graduated with Honors from Arizona State University in 1998. Brandy is distinguished from other family law attorneys by her degree in psychology. As a result, Brandy brings valuable insight to cases with respect to the difficult emotional and psychological dynamics involved in family law matters.
Brandy then obtained her Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law in 2001. Since then, she has been a fierce advocate, deeply committed to family law issues. Brandy has assisted clients with family law matters ranging from basic to complex and has appeared in Court for numerous hearings, conferences and trials.
During her career, Brandy has been recognized for her volunteer work in the community by the Family Law Assistance Project and has provided her services to the Arizona State University College of Law Advocacy Program for Domestic Violence. Brandy has also served as a Court-Appointed Advisor to provide objective testimony for the Court regarding serious custody issues. As a single parent, Brandy can thoroughly understand any situation not only from a legal perspective, but a personal one as well. Brandy will pursue what is right for her clients and their children.
Harry Lenaburg has been practicing law in the Phoenix area since he was admitted to the State bar of Arizona in April of 1979, the last 15 years concentrating on Family Law matters, divorces, modifications of child support and spousal maintenance, changes of custody and establishing paternity and initial child support and parenting time orders. Harry’s prior experience representing clients with bankruptcies and estate planning matters is an invaluable tool in analyzing family law issues.
Raised in Arizona since childhood Harry attended St. Mary’s high School in Phoenix, and graduated from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff in 1976, and was awarded his juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego, School of Law in May of 1979, although he completed his degree requirements in December, 1978, and sat for the Arizona Bar in February 1979, being admitted in April.
Harry is admitted to all Arizona courts, has argued family law matters before judges around the state, and argued before the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division One. He is also admitted to practice in the United States bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona.
Harry and his wife, Helen, have been married nearly 40 years and have three adult sons. He has been active in the Scouting program (all three sons are Eagle Scouts) been active with the Maricopa County Family Law Assistance Program, and an active member of his church.
